If you don’t know me, I’m Joslyn and I guide families to mindful nutrition that breaks trauma cycles and promotes health. I believe self-love heals and the formula to loving one’s self is quite simple: chase your joy and challenge every belief. I am a holistic health and nutrition coach, a certified Pilates instructor, mother and connector.

I’m going to make this quick! I want to leave you with something juicy to ponder on and a practice to experiment with this week.

If you’re reading this from a mobile device or computer, I think it’s safe to say you probably have access to clean drinking water. I’m so grateful. Water is essential to our health as it powers every cell in our body. Without enough water, your brain struggles to think, your muscles lose strength, and your organs can't cleanse and regenerate. There are 8.2 billion people on this planet yet 2.1 billion still lack access to safely managed and clean drinking water (source: UNICEF USA). That’s equivalent to 1 out of 4 of your closest friends or family members not having access to clean drinking water. Even though we can't fix this large-scale water scarcity problem alone, we can honor the water we do have by using it thoughtfully and appreciating its essential role in our health.

This week notice your drinking water habits. Are you drinking it or avoiding it? Do you like it ice cold or room temp. Are you drinking more water than other beverages or less? Are you drinking enough? Do you know what enough water looks like?

Water is life. Together, we have the power to honor every drop of water—not just as a resource, but as a precious gift that fuels our health and vitality. When we choose mindful hydration and care, we create a ripple of wellness that connects us all. Let’s drink deeply and live fully. Sip. Sip.
